The Seekers Course

​

The Seekers course is the foundational journey into the Blackthorn Tradition, designed to guide students in discovering whether this sacred Path is right for them.

​

This linear course explores core principles of Wicca, including the Wheel of the Year, the balance of power, the Divine Goddess and God, the rituals that mark the cycles of life, Circle etiquette, and the rich history of Wicca and Witchcraft. These teachings are compiled in the Seeker’s Booklet, gifted to each student on the first night and treasured as their own.

Each session blends lecture, open discussion, and immersive Circle work. Circle practices include the Tree of Life meditation, elemental quests, sensing and mastering personal and elemental energies, and nurturing a growing relationship with the Goddess and God. Weekly homework assignments and a curated reading list support deepening understanding.

The only commitment required is consistent attendance and communication with your teacher should you choose to leave the class. The Seekers course offers a sacred space to explore without long-term obligation, allowing time to discern if the Blackthorn Tradition calls your spirit.

The journey culminates in a written test—the only one in the Tradition—designed to illuminate each student’s strengths and areas for growth. This test may be taken up to three times, with two allowed attempts at revision.

Entry to the Seekers Course is by request, requiring your sincere persistence and the acceptance of The Wild Blackthorn.
